Townsend Farm

Purchased by our Client as their principal residence, this Grade II listed farmhouse has undergone extensive refurbishment and extension to carefully preserve and enhance the style and period of the original building.

The roof and gable ends were in a very poor state and prior to works commencement, the roof was temporarily covered and then stripped, a new cut roof inserted and recovered.  Alongside major internal alterations, new extensions were constructed to enhance and increase the living space.

Because of the nature of the property, much of the works were carried out under the direction of English heritage and materials and workmanship were carefully monitored.
